LION DANCE FOR THE ELDERLIES

More than 190 elderlies from the Chinese communities in Taman Klang were entertained by the Public Service Centre of DUN Meru in the Chinese New Year celebration program.
The downpour that started early in the morning and continued till the afternoon did not hinder the big crowd that attended the ceremony.
Apart from giving them the Ang Pow, each and every elderly over 60 years of age was granted a parcel of gift and a greeting card.

YB Dr Rani in his speech stressed the importance of mutual understanding and compromising among the different cultures, religious beliefs and backgrounds of the cosmopolitant populations of Malaysia.
The Lion Dance was performed by the Chinese Youth from the PAS Supportive Club of Shah Alam.
